The funeral of Oscar-winning Irish actress Brenda Fricker will take place in Dublin this morning.

The actor died on July 16th at Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross in Dublin

Hundreds of mourners, including Irish musicians and entertainers, filled a Dublin cathedral on Tuesday for the funeral of Academy Award-winning singer-songwriter Glen Hansard, who died in a motorcycle crash last week aged 56.

Fricker, who passed away last month, became the first Irish woman to win an Academy Award in 1990.
