France set to take part in U20 Women's World Cup despite Uefa boycott threat

France say they are still planning to compete in the Under-20 Women's World Cup next month despite a threat from Uefa to boycott Fifa competitions.

Uefa stressed that its key conditions for a return to Fifa competitions had not been met

The 56-year-old Swiss official has also been criticised by South American body CONMEBOL. But he did get backing from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The endorsement from CAF, whose 54 member associations account for more than a quarter of FIFA's 211 members, handed Infantino a boost as he seeks a fourth term in office.
