Four workers killed by train in Japan

Four men working on railroad tracks were killed when they were hit by a train at a station in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, Thursday.

Railway officials said it was unclear why the workers did not leave the site when the train was approaching, or what the lookout people were doing.

The train collided with the four men at Shin-Kanuma Station, north of Tokyo, authorities say.
