Four people were killed after Iran-backed Houthis attacked a commercial vessel in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, according to Yemeni officials.

The Yemeni government said the ship was carrying food supplies to a port on the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The Iran-backed Houthis have not commented on the attack.

A small cargo ship was attacked by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis in the Bab el-Mandeb strait on Tuesday, killing three crew members, sources said.
