Fire Breaks Out at Ust-Luga Port After Ukrainian Drone Attack

Regional authorities said firefighters later managed to put out the blaze at the major oil export terminal.

Ukraine attacked Russia’s key Baltic oil port of Ust-Luga with 54 drones overnight on Aug. 14, triggering a fire and disrupting operations. The strike marks at least the sixth attack on the port this year as Kyiv intensifies efforts to hit Russia’s lucrative oil-export infrastructure.
