FG urges states to support repatriation efforts, S’Africa returnees

The Federal Government has called on state governments to complement its efforts in evacuating and resettling Nigerians at risk abroad, warning that no citizen should be abandoned to an uncertain fate.

A group of Ghanaian evacuees from South Africa, calling themselves the “Evacuation Boys,” has pledged to support Ghana’s development by joining efforts to improve sanitation and promote a cleaner country.

The Turkish foreign minister seperately spoke with his Iranian counterpart in a call on Tuesday, where the two discussed efforts to open the Strait of Hormuz and continue the US-Iran ceasefire.
