Fast-moving front bringing rain and strong gales to central NZ

A new weather front moving up from the south on Friday will bring strong northwest winds over central and northern New Zealand.

What was left of Tropical Storm Edouard caused major flooding in Southeast Texas on Wednesday. First responders raced to rescue people trapped by floodwaters, as some areas received nearly 2 feet of rain. Jason Allen reports from the flood zone and Rob Marciano has the forecast.

A Flash Flood Emergency for life-threatening flooding was issued for parts of Hardin and Tyler counties shortly after 5:45 a.m. local time.
