Vets at Chester Zoo say the 15ft-long reptile is back to her 'bright and feisty self' after electrochemotherapy for a tumour on her jawbone.

A U.K. zoo on Friday hailed curing a cancer-stricken python named after Hollywood star Jodie Foster, who became the first snake to receive an innovative treatment combining surgery and electrochemotherapy (ECT).

A snake almost killed by a cancerous tumour has been saved after what's been called a world-first treatment - originally for humans.
