Exam pass rates increase for South Lanarkshire pupils

The number of pupils gaining Higher and National 5 awards increased from last year and a record number of candidates sat Qualifications Scotland exams

New figures show rising attainment among Glasgow pupils, with increases in National 5 and Higher passes and a narrowing poverty-related gap, as thousands of learners across Scotland receive their results.

Digital exam results were sent out at 8am on Tuesday morning.
