Edmonton Marathon director apologizes after course measured incorrectly

More than 10,000 people registered for the race and, despite the miscalculation, both the men and women's fastest-time records were broken in this year's event.

Two days after runners completed the Edmonton Marathon, the race director is apologizing after he says event officials discovered an error in accounting for detours that led to race courses being too long.
