Drone attacks kill three, target bus in Russia's Belgorod region

July 28 - Ukrainian drone strikes killed three people on Tuesday in Russia's border region of Belgorod and 19 more were injured in an attack on a bus denounced by the Foreign Ministry in Moscow.

Authorities in the border region have accused Ukraine of targeting civilian sites in a “chaotic” air campaign aimed at “sowing panic.”

A Ukrainian drone struck a civilian bus on a scheduled route in Shebekino, acting Belgorod Governor Alexander Shuvaev said.

Defences downed a few dozen drones elsewhere in the region, including in Podolsk, Domodedovo and Kolomna, Vorobyov said.

A large drone attack disrupted Moscow early Tuesday, forcing airport restrictions as Russian authorities claimed dozens of UAVs were intercepted near the capital.
