Dreyer's recalls fruit bars nationwide for possible contamination risk

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is recalling a popular brand of fruit bars sold at Walmart and other retailers due to foreign object contamination.

The parent company, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, voluntarily recalled five flavors nationwide. No injuries linked to the recalled products have been reported.

Five flavors of Outshine Fruit Bars sold nationwide were recalled because they may include glass, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream said.

To determine if one's popsicle is subject to the recall, customers should check the UPC and batch codes on the bottom of the package.
