Democrat backed by Blue Dogs and Bernie Sanders wins primary as parties prepare to battle for the House

Tuesday’s primaries are setting the matchups in around a half-dozen competitive House races that will be key to the fight for the House majority in November, including in a hotly contested Democratic target in Wisconsin.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) wants super PACs banned from having a hand in Democrat primary elections, namely the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Sanders believes that even candidates who support super PAC reforms will continue accepting money from super PACs for use in elections so long as there is benefit to be gained from the arrangement.
