David Scott’s daughter defeated in Georgia House special election for open seat

Marcye Scott, the daughter of the late Rep. Everton Blair Jr. will serve until January in the seat long held by Mr. Scott, who died in April. Mr. Blair is not competing in the general election for the next full term in the deep-blue district.
