Dangerous wildfires in Washington burn thousands of acres

Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate in Washington where fires have burned more than 250,000 acres. From the air to the ground, firefighters are battling the blaze. In Greece, fire officials say two people died after firefighting helicopters collided. NBC News’ Camila Bernal has the latest.

Several towns in B.C.’s East Kootenay region are facing power outages on Sunday due to wildfire smoke and storm damage.

"When the sun sets, and the sun rises in the morning, I think we're going to be in shock to see some of the scenes that emerge out there," said Major General Gent Welsh of the National Guard.
