Covid inquiry response: Government sets new transparency requirements over key advice

The Govt has largely accepted the 63 recommendations from the Phase One and Two reports.

Key official advice behind major emergency decisions will be proactively released within five working days during future health crises, following findings that restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic at times went further than health experts advised.
