Court sets judgement date in suit challenging Donald Duke’s PRP presidential candidacy

The suit seeks the court's declaration that the 25 May primary election of the PRP from which Mr Duke emerged as the party's presidential candidate, was invalidated by overvoting in states like Bauchi, Gombe and Kwara.

An aspirant, Dr Yakubu Kingsley, filed the suit to challenge the emergence of Duke as presidential candidate of PRP.
