Could Glasgow's Caledonian Sleeper soon reach mainland Europe?

A feasibility study is under way into extending Glasgow's Caledonian Sleeper beyond London and through the Channel Tunnel to mainland Europe later this decade.

A new route between the Highlands and mainland Europe could be on its way, after a working group met for the first time to assess the feasibility of extending the Caledonian Sleeper service to the continent.
