COP17: Finance, water, land top agenda as UN desertification talks enter final stretch in Mongolia

As the 17th session of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification enters its final week in Ulaanbaatar, ministers and global leaders will focus on finance, water, land, and food systems.

Delegates of 179 members of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification engage with local communities and business partners to find solutions for land degradation which affects half of world's population and creates poverty and mass migration.
