A new roadmap sets out the conditions toward peace in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). But disagreements over M23 rebels, Rwanda's role, and security concerns remain, and could still derail the process.

Both sides had previously signed an agreement in Doha last year, but fighting has continued in mineral-rich eastern DRC, a region that has endured years of conflict.

Representatives met in Switzerland to work out next steps to resolve the conflict.

Roadmap follows a week of talks in Switzerland aimed at making progress on a framework agreement they signed last year.
