Committee asks TikTok again to attend Oireachtas meeting on car theft gang videos

TikTok has been asked to the meeting to discuss ‘online content promoting criminal activity’.

Alan Kelly, Chair of Oireachtas Media Committee said it was a “slap in the face to the Irish Public.”

Social media giant TikTok has declined an invitation to appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Media to discuss the posting of videos of people driving down motorways the wrong way and endangering other people's lives.
