'Come To Bengal As Much As You Want': Suvendu Adhikari To Taslima Nasreen

Welcoming Nasreen to what he called a "safe West Bengal", Adhikari said her presence itself demonstrated that democracy, constitutional values, freedom of speech and fundamental rights were now secure in the state.

West Bengal's Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari pledged to resolve all pending CAA applications soon. He stated the law grants citizenship and is not meant to revoke it. Nearly twenty-four thousand citizenship certificates have already been issued to eligible refugees. The government will delegate powers to district magi
