Closing arguments are scheduled Monday in one of hip-hop’s most anticipated trials for the man accused of orchestrating the death of Tupac Shakur.

A jury convicted Duane Keith Davis, 63, in the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed Mr. Shakur, a rapper at the height of his popularity. Prosecutors cited portions of Mr. Davis’s disavowed memoir.

The jury reached a verdict in less than three hours in a case that had been unsolved for nearly 30 years.
