Chinese shop owner accused of stealing from over 1,200 compatriots in Thailand

A Chinese national and three Thai accomplices have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than 29 million baht (US$896,000) from over 1,200 Chinese tourists.

A Chinese man and three Thais have been arrested for allegedly skimming the credit card data of 1,200 Chinese visitors to their shops in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and stealing 30-million-baht from them using forged credit cards.
