A few dozen gathered outside Portland's Moda Center in support of Cunningham on Friday, marking the second straight game that happened.

The debate over transgender athletes has overtaken the WNBA after a co-owner of the Seattle Storm was fined for her heated exchange with fans of Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham. Cunningham is known for her stance against trans athletes in women's sports.
