Canadians affected by 2020 CRA data breach can now apply for compensation

Thousands of eligible Canadians can now apply for compensation, after a months-long Canada Revenue Agency data breach in 2020 left their private information vulnerable to hackers.

A Canadian man accused in a massive data breach of the company Snowflake Inc., has pleaded guilty to four charges including computer fraud, wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and a related conspiracy.
