"Wetter, windier weather" is on the way following days of freezing temperatures.

Severe thunderstorms are impacting various US regions, with warnings of damaging winds, large hail, and flooding.

There are several overlapping advisories for both severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes, with storms expected to materialize in the late afternoon across central Alberta.

Rainfall this summer has been maddeningly capricious, but this time it appears that the entire region is going to win some share of the rain lottery proceeds, wanted or not.“I think this is the type of setup where everyone is going to get rain,” said Marc Chernard, senior branch forecasters with the federal Weather Pre
