Broadcasters won’t say if they’ll go for Eurovision after AVROTROS pulls out

Dutch public broadcasters will not say whether any of them will cover the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest or arrange a Dutch entry after AVROTROS announced Monday

According to AVROTROS Director-General Taco Zimmerman, "It is undeniable that international conflicts are increasingly affecting the Contest, undermining its neutral character."

It says contest can no longer be considered neutral while a participating country remains involved in a large-scale military conflict.

Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS has announced it will not take part in next year's Eurovision Song Contest, saying the event can "no longer be considered neutral" amid divisions surrounding the war in Gaza.
