Breaking : WAEC releases 2026 results; 1.2m candidates pass English, Maths

A total of 1,959,668 candidates from 24,207 schools enrolled for the examination across Nigeria, Benin Republic, Cote d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea. 1,950,726 candidates sat the examination.

The Head of WAEC’s Nigeria National Office, Amos Dangut, announced the results at a press briefing in Lagos on Wednesday.
