Braves' Hurston Waldrep, Spencer Schwellenbach to have season-ending surgeries

The Braves, who are going with a six-man rotation, had hopes that both pitchers could contribute during the stretch run.

The Atlanta Braves officially announced that two of their young stars in the making will be requiring season ending procedures. The two starters were excellent for the Braves last season, but never got the opportunity to get it going in 2026.

The Cincinnati Reds will be without one of their players for the rest of the year, as Michael Toglia is having shoulder surgery.
