A 17-year-old Massachusetts boy has been accused of killing his mother and younger brother after prosecutors said he used ChatGPT to explore “theoretical ideas or fantasies” about killing his family.

Arjun Aravind allegedly used ChatGPT to explore scenarios involving killing his family before the murders of his mother and brother in Acton.

Aravind over the past year had had behaviour issues and his family had hidden knives from him, the teen’s father said, WCVB reported, citing police reports.
