B.C. man sentenced to 11 years in drug-trafficking case

A British Columbia man is facing more than a decade in prison for his role in a drug-trafficking operation after police seized more than 12 kilograms of illicit drugs, including carfentanil, in the Fraser Valley.

President Bola Tinubu has filed a challenge in a US court to prevent the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI and DEA from releasing records linked to allegations of drug trafficking.

The party said the FBI findings should not remain entirely hidden simply because some portions may be sensitive, arguing that information that does not endanger lives or compromise investigative methods can still be made public.
