Arson suspect in devastating Spokane, Wash. wildfire arrested

The Old Trails Fire is one of three major blazes burning around Spokane, forcing some 67,000 people to evacuate and destroying at least 700 structures.

Authorities reported that three fires burned more than 10,000 acres, destroying hundreds of buildings and forcing thousands of residents to evacuate.

Surveillance video showed a man in a helmet lighting fireworks, pouring gasoline onto a stairwell and lighting it and then firing a BB rifle.

It was a busy Saskatchewan Day for Saskatoon emergency crews, with firefighters responding to three different structure fires.
