Army arrests three suspected gun runners in Zamfara, rescues six

Nigerian Army troops have arrested three suspected gun runners in Zamfara, recovering an AK-103-2 rifle and ammunition. Six victims were also rescued.

Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested a suspected gunrunner and recovered an AK-47 rifle and other items in Plateau State, while a separate operation in Edo State led to the rescue of a kidnapped victim.

The operation, conducted by troops of Operation Enduring Peace in collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters, followed the abduction of a medical doctor, Abraham Owoicho, on 19 August
