Ariana Grande says choice to step back comes from an ’empowered’ place

While on stage in Chicago during her Eternal Sunshine Tour, the 33-year-old took a few moments to address her decision to take a break form public view directly with her fans.

One day after announcing she'll step back from the spotlight after her tour ends, Ariana Grande spoke directly to fans at Monday night's show in Chicago. The singer said the decision was her own and "was made from a thoughtful and empowered place."
