Police clashed with protesters in Buenos Aires after thousands rallied against President Javier Milei's private property bill. The government had already dropped a provision on foreigners buying land in Argentina.

As the protest drew to a close on Thursday, scuffles broke out on Congress Square with protesters targeting police with stones and other projectiles. Security forces responded with tear gas, rubber bullets and a water cannon.
