Apple's trade secrets lawsuit against OpenAI and former employees has spilled into public view, and OpenAI is bringing receipts.

Apple says its trade secrets investigation into OpenAI has widened. In a new court filing, Apple claims additional former staff may have retained or accessed confidential information.

“We do not have, nor want, any of their trade secrets,” the ChatGPT maker says.

Apple has filed a request for a preliminary injunction in its ongoing trade secrets lawsuit against OpenAI. Without a preliminary injunction, Apple says it will be “irreparably harmed” by the theft of its trade secrets.
