Appeal for bail denied for man accused of Saskatchewan highway shooting

The man accused of shooting and killing Tany Myers on Highway 39 in Saskatchewan had his appeal to be released on bail denied Thursday.

Saskatchewan’s highest court has ruled against the man accused of second-degree murder in relation to the 2025 shooting death of Tanya Myers near Weyburn.

A Canadian intern accused of spying at NATO's military headquarters in Belgium has been denied bail and will remain in custody. Belgian prosecutors allege she spied for a third country and was part of a criminal organization.
