Amaechi accuses Presidency of attacking Catholic Church over Onaiyekan’s remarks

Mr Amaechi said there was nothing inappropriate about the cleric speaking publicly on issues discussed during the meeting, especially as it was held in the presence of journalists and television cameras.

Obi argued that other major religious organisations had also consistently raised concerns over insecurity, inflation, unemployment and the rising cost of living because they interact directly with affected Nigerians.
