Allies Arrive in Kyiv to Mark Ukraine's 35th Independence Day

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Estonian President Alar Karis and European Council President António Costa arrived in Kyiv on Monday to mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

For 70,000 displaced Ukrainians living in Belgium, the hope of returning home remains, even as escalating Russian attacks and air-defence shortages put fresh pressure on Kyiv's European allies.
