Alleged operator of major darknet drugs platform charged in Germany

The suspect was arrested at his home in Barcelona in June 2025 by a special unit of the Spanish National Police and was later extradited to Germany.

The “Archetyp Market” platform was closed in a major international operation in June last year, and prosecutors say that at the time it was the world’s biggest trading site for narcotics, cannabis, new psychoactive substances and medication.
