The vaccination campaign was officially launched in Kisangani, the capital of Tshopo province, in the country's east, Health Minister Roger Kamba said.

The Bundibugyo outbreak has reached 5,656 confirmed cases and 2,715 deaths, and is now spreading through 58 of the country's health zones.
