Aaron Judge has another busy baseball day and what’s next as his Yankees’ return nears

SAN DIEGO — The endgame is near for Aaron Judge. The Yankees captain took on-field batting practice for the second straight day Saturday at Petco Park, part of another busy day of full baseball activities as he tries to build up his endurance with just about all of the physical boxes checked off ahead of his potential

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Judge could possibly be activated during the team's upcoming six-game homestand, which would include hosting the Mets on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

"You've got to check all of the boxes so that you get cleared to play," said Judge, who is "mad" that his rehab process is taking so long.
