According to state health officials, the animals were likely exposed in late July when a skunk entered their pen and bit them.

Farm Adventures said four of its baby goats had contracted rabies.

Four baby goats from a North Carolina mobile petting zoo tested positive for rabies and were euthanized, and health officials are asking anyone who may have had contact with them to reach out for possible treatment.

Farm Adventures of Harmony, N.C., owned the goats, state health officials said. It was unclear how many people might have been exposed to them since late July.
