25 states file suit to stop mail-in voting rule before midterms

Twenty-five states have filed a lawsuit against the USPS to prevent it from enacting a new rule that gives it control over mail-in ballots.

The rule in question would require election officials to give USPS voter information and use federally reviewed, uniquely barcoded ballot envelopes.
