2027: Melaye vows to sue over Zacch Adedeji’s role in Tinubu’s campaign

Former Senator Dino Melaye plans to sue over Zacch Adedeji’s appointment to Tinubu’s 2027 campaign council, citing conflict of interest as FIRS chairman.

As the campaigns for the 2027 general elections begin following the signing of the Peace Accord last week by presidential candidates, there are fears over the likelihood of the exercise snowballing into brinkmanship.

The ADC has questioned the inclusion of former Humanitarian Affairs Minister Betta Edu and former NSITF Chairman Ngozi Olejeme in President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 campaign council.
