2 Dead After Stabbing At New York's Times Square, Attacker Killed

A knife-wielding woman stabbed two people in New York's Times Square on Monday before she was shot by police, according to authorities and US media.

The 49-year-old woman from Queens pulled out two knives from a shopping bag and began stabbing people at random.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the deaths in a press conference, saying that the second victim was in stable condition in a hospital
