13 hostages, including 6 children, freed by Haitian gang following murder spree

Thirteen hostages — including six children and seven women — have been freed by a Haitian gang following a murderous rampage that left 47 dead and more than 50 others abducted in a once-tranquil farming community outside Port-au-Prince.

The attack in Kenscoff killed at least 47 people and resulted in the kidnapping of more than 50, as gangs exert control.

Six children and seven women were released by a gang in Haiti that had kidnapped more than 50 people after launching a deadly attack on a community near the capital, Port-au-Prince, nearly a week ago, according to UNICEF.

Among those released are three children under the age of 2, a 7-year-old and two teenage girls
