$1 billion Powerball jackpot: Which payout option is best if you win?

A $1 billion Powerball jackpot is up for grabs.

No winning tickets were sold for Monday night's $905 million Powerball jackpot, so the estimated grand prize for Wednesday's drawing will be at least $1 billion, Powerball says.

Nearly $1 billion are now up for grabs in the Powerball jackpot after there were no winning tickets matching all six numbers in Monday night’s drawing. If won, the prize now sitting at $975 million, would be the eighth largest in Powerball history. The next drawing is Wednesday night.
