Zimbabwe’s Mining Exports Doubled. Its Reserves Still Cover 1.7 Months of Imports

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe reports mining export earnings up 121% in the first half of 2026, while usable reserves at end-July covered just 1.7 months of imports.
